216 Premium Residential Series
Over-engineered. Under-priced. Honda has been the brand of choice for lawn care professionals for many years. Now the same superior engineering, ruggedness and dependability have been built into a line of mowers specifically designed for the premium residential user. Powered by the brand new, lightweight and extra-quiet Honda GCV engines, the 216 series mowers are available with all the features that make Honda mowers so attractive for commercial use, in a smaller, lighter, remarkably user-friendly package. A 21 inch cutting deck and lots of Honda power is ready for the wide-open spaces of any yard, and easy-to-reach controls and enhanced manoeuvrability make tight spots a breeze. Choose from self-propelled or walk-behind, rear and side discharge models depending upon your needs.
Model IZY compact series
Izy comes in three different models and are designed for the smaller urban lot sizes of today. You can choose from two different cutting widths, 16 inch and 18 inch. The 16 inch version is available in a push type and the 18 inch version in push and single-speed self-propelled models. All three models are 3 in 1 - bagging / mulching rear-discharge capable, right-out-of-the-box.
Model Commercial
When cutting lawns is your job, not your weekend relaxation, you need a mower that will keep cutting day after day, year after year. Honda's rugged, heavy duty steel-deck HRC model started out tough like our residential mowers, but then we make it tougher. The HRC2162HXC rides on heavy-duty wheels with precision sealed ball-bearings, while additional reinforcement in the 1-inch steel handlebar means it can take a beating without bending. Deckside guards act like a bumper during those abrupt meetings with curbs, fences or other obstructions. Even the muffler and heat shield are built oversize and extra strong. And don't forget that the Honda commercial mower is fully convertible, so you can switch from rear bagging to mulching to rear discharge from one job to the next.
Model HRX Versamow Series
The Honda HRX is a new lawnmower line pioneering the unique Versamow SystemTM that can, for the first time on any mower simultaneously distribute grass clippings to both the bag and the ground. The HRX features a powerful 6.5-hp* Honda GCV overhead cam engine with a choice of 3-speed or Cruise Control hydrostatic transmission. Versamow SystemTM - The Honda Versamow SystemTM has been designed to be a complete 4 in 1 mowing system delivering the ultimate in flexibility. It allows for maximum mowing performance and flexibility, affording the HRX user to select either the bagging or mulching configuration – or any combination of the two – by easily rotating the Versamow Systems's clip director. The clip director is a lever located behind the engine cowling and allows the operator to:
The system also offers a setting for leaf shredding where leaves are recirculated until they are small enough to pass through the Versamow opening and into the bag. All this can take place without a conventional mulch plug and the labor-intensive conversion associated with most mowers. The Honda micro-cut twin blade system uses four cutting surfaces to cut grass into tiny pieces that quickly decompose and add nutrients to a lawn. This special design is exclusive to Honda, and it produces finer clippings for superior mulching. The MicroCut™ Twin Blade system also creates superior bagging: finer clippings take up less volume, so the bag fills up less often. Homeowners can now mow between 40 to 50% further than conventional bagging mowers before having to empty the bag. Honda's exclusive Xenoy Deck will never rust, dent or corrode. It carries a 5-year warranty and is strong enough to support the weight of a car. Features 7 mowing heights with a range from 3/4" to 4". Larger 9" wheels mean smoother movement over varied terrain. Folding handle helps the HRX fit in tight spaces for convenient storage. Horsepower rating is in accordance with SAE J1995. Actual engine power will be lower. Engine power depends on accessories, operating speeds, operating conditions and other variables. |
